About Me

I love playing games, hiking, hunting, camping, fishing, martial arts and raising my kids.  I am also an Adjunct Professor at ITT-Tech in their Visual Communications and IT programs and have taught in the past at IADT.

I have been involved with running the local IGDA chapter here in Detroit.  I am also involved in the historical reenactment society, the SCA.  In the past I have also been a member of the SAE (participating in the FSAE collegiate competition), IEEE Computer Society and ACM

My History

I graduated from H.S. in Flat Rock, MI, then joined the U.S. Navy for 4 years exploring the world and growing up!  Man, the military sure will make one face life real quick.

I then spent 7 years after the military enjoying life some more, while obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan - Dearborn.

In 2001 I joined Cobasys LLC (and affiliates) and the Automotive Industry making the world a bettery place through building NiMH battery systems for electric and hybrid electric vehicles.

In the process I have started my own media company, Moya Entertainment, to explore running a business and learning new technologies outside of Cobasys.  Along the way I have learned a lot about Web Development, New Media such as Podcasting and Game Development.

During that time I have also explored working as an Adjunct Professor teaching college students as a potential long term career strategy, but I know I need to resume college eventually obtaining my Masters degree, then eventually a PHD, should I wish to teach at the largest colleges.  In the past I have also coached youth baseball and football, whcih one day I will probably return to coaching as my kids get older.
